1.00 - Preface: Choose not to do GCSE Maths/GCSE English anymore.../nor arts.

Both my GCSE Maths/GCSE English attempts failed for the last term: Year 2024-2025. 

I decided rather than fail, again...; which is a whole year completely 'wasted'; might as well try doing something else, instead...; where I'm more or less guaranteed to pass...so, I decided to try doing 'beginners' level computer...; and, try and slowly work my way up from Level I to Level 3.

1.02 - My first lesson of the term: Essential Digital Skills

I arrived in class 1 hour late. -(Over-slept!)-

On the initial assessment test I got 15/15...or, 'perfect' score.

The teacher did says to me during the class break...; that this class might be a bit too easy for me...; and, so he was worried I might feel 'bored'.

However, I decided to stick with it...; after all, it's not forever...just 10 weeks long/and, then, that's it...I can apply to reaching a higher level.

1.03 - CONCLUSION: Very 'beginners'...a bit too low level for me.

Although, it was a 'beginners' class...still it's good to revise...; to see if there is anything you forgot/or, was missing.

I enjoyed meeting new students...; and, also, sometimes, helping them out whenever they got stuck.

Tue 230925 - Attended early morning course. Thrown off late evening course...too advanced!

  2PM-5PM Early evening, attended class: Bridge to EDS/Essential Digital Skills. It was a fast class...I was expecting to see only beginners turn up...; but, instead, there were many more 'advanced' learners there, as well. ---- 6PM-9PM I tried attending the late evening class with Mohamed Hassan  Abas in Room 513; but, I got thrown out for being too 'advanced'. My intention is to join being in a Level II class, instead; if it's not already far too 'late'...?! ---- I went to the ILC/Individual Learning Centre downstairs...; and, there signed in to check my course timetable. Apparently, there is still 3/or, 5 tests to complete...all of which can be accessed by signing in to my learners a/c.
